Fear Free Certified Small Animal Dermatology
Welcome! My name is Dr. Livia Szamosi-Iván. I am a veterinarian, member of the Hungarian Association of Veterinary Dermatologists and an Elite Fear Free Certified Prodfessional. My aim is to treat dogs and cats with skin conditions, using the principles of Fear Free patient care. I work at Duo-Vet Veterinary Clinic in Budapest.
Canine and Feline Dermatology
Skin problems in dogs and cats involve not only the skin itself but also changes affecting the coat, ear canals, nose, mucocutaneous junctions, paw pads, claws, and nail beds. These conditions can be frustrating for both the animal and the Owner. Constant scratching and licking can lead to infections and wounds, which significantly reduce the pet's quality of life.
Fear free Care
The aim of Fear Free is to reduce stress, fear, and anxiety during veterinary examinations, treatments, or other care situations. At Duo-Vet Veterinary Services, I use my Fear Free skills in both general practice and dermatology care.
